Cathodic protection (CP) is used to control the corrosion of metal surfaces. CP systems are most commonly used to protect steel, water or fuel pipelines and storage tanks, steel pier piles, ships, offshore oil platforms and onshore oil well casings. Our team of experts and NACE certified technicians will conduct all calculations, and installations along with field monitoring after installation (if and when required).

ACTS have been using bolt tensioning to solve problems for our clients who need work done on larger bolts. Tensioning stretches the bolt, or stud, to a predetermined load, by using force to elongate the shank. This is accomplished using a pulling or pushing force which is created by a hydraulic cylinder.
ACTS has also used the bolt torquing methodology when working with smaller bolt and is used to stretch the bolt or stud to a predetermined load. The stretching is accomplished by turning the nut, which pulls the shankdue to the ramp angle of the threads.
